A.D. Barnes Park continued to be productive for fall migrants today, with many birds being seen by myself as well as other birders scattered throughout the park:
Osprey
Peregrine Falcon (1 individual soaring overhead)
Royal Tern (surprise flyover of a single bird)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Least Flycatcher (Homeless Hammock)
Eastern Kingbird
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo: 17
Barn Swallow ~15
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 19
Swainson's Thrush: 2
Ovenbird: 10
Worm-eating Warbler: 2
Northern Waterthrush: 3
Black-and-white Warbler: 7
Tennessee Warbler: 2
Common Yellowthroat: 4
American Redstart: 3
Cape May Warbler: 4
Northern Parula: 6
Black-throated Blue Warbler: 9
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler: 6
Summer Tanager
Baltimore Oriole
Other migrant species seen at the park today by others included Prothonotary Warbler, Swainson's Warbler, and Scarlet Tanager.
