At about 1:10 p.m. today I got great looks at this warbler in bright indirect light just before a major deluge of rain began! It remains in the "Homeless Hammock" area of the park. This time it was on the East side of the asphalt trail. I looked through an arched opening to my left just past the 2nd lightpole(located on West side of path as you walk South). The bird was standing in the open, on top of a dead tree trunk laying on the ground. It was about 25-30 ft. from the edge of the path. It jumped to the ground foraging continously, tossing large wads of leaves into the air. Two Ovenbirds could be seen close to it. I designated the first lightpole as the one just past(South of) the picnic table/barbeque grill which are located in the Southeast area of the circular driveway that is in the southernmost area of the park.
