Hi Alex,
Decisions by the ABA Checklist Committee are not final until published, in this case in the Nov/Dec issue of BIRDING. There will be no appending of any checklist until then.
For the record, I wasn't aware that the swamphen had been accepted; I just sent it to the committee 3 weeks ago, once the FOS Records Committee accepted it.
