A very nice group of twelve people showed up for the Greynolds Park Bird Walk this morning. The morning started off with a brief hard rain but then skies cleared producing an impressive rainbow. Highlights of the walk included four Baltimore Orioles that were pretty spectacular with their orange-yellow feathers high-lighted in the morning light and an immature White-crowned Pigeon that was first spotted by Alex in the south side of the lake in the former bird rookery (a first for me in seeing this bird in the park). Over-all we had 34 species of birds that included 10 species of warblers. Thanks to all who participated in the walk. Here is the list in order of sightings:
