Spent the day with Rafael Galvez at several sites in the northern Keys and saw some nice diversity! All the regular Caribbean migrants were at Dagne Johnson except SWWA but there was one lingering Louisiana waterthrush there.

8 to 10 Mississippi kites were flying overhead, going north and east, as we went to the next stop: Founder's Park near mm 87. Great diversity there(generally one each of the unusual stuff): Nashville warbler
Magnolia warbler
Tennessee warbler
Prothonotary warbler
Prairie warbler
American redstart
Black & white warbler
Ovenbird
Northern waterthrush
Worm-eating warbler
Cape May warbler
Common yellowthroat
Northern parula
Black-throated blue warbler
Traill's flycatcher
Red-eyed vireo
Ruby-throated hummingbird
Bobolink
Eastern kingbird
Birdiest spot of the whole day.

We added Baltimore oriole and yellow-throated warbler at Windley Key, and yellow-breasted chat and Eastern wood-pewee at Long Key. Raptors also on the move: merlin, peregrine, northern harrier and Cooper's hawks in the air. Nice day, and the clouds kept things cooler but we weren't rained on.
