Birded both Arch Creek and Enchanted Forest Parks in North Miami under cloudy and rainy weather today. Both parks were productive in species and individual numbers. Arch Creek Park - focused on main trail that cuts through the hammock and north EEL site. At Enchanted Forest I concentrated on the more open area just east of the playground and picnic shelter. 14 warbler species were seen mostly in live oak and fruiting strangler fig trees.

I also had a Kentucky warbler that has been hanging around my house for two days - it likes the dense Surinam cherry hedge row.
On Friday I will scout Greynolds Park in preparation for the bird walk on Saturday.
