FOS redstarts at the bird bath yesterday(North Coral Springs); two males. And again a cluster of nighthawks in consort with swallows this morning. At Hoechoka Hammock the duck population is now risen to 55 mottled and the female wood duck and her four now fledged and very independent ducklings. The male still appears occasionally. This is the greatest photo-op I have had for wood ducks in two years. But still the ducklings are not full colored. I believe that two are males.
