With the passing of strong rains last night, A.D. Barnes produced more species and individuals of migrating birds than in recent days (or perhaps so far this season). Homeless Hammock and the figs near the lake contained most of the species, although most of the park was productive. Fourteen warbler species were seen.

Eastern Wood-Pewee- 2

Traill's flycatcher species- 1; north side of lake in willows near the large gazebo. It became excited when an Alder recording was played, for what that is worth...
Red-eyed Vireo- 25
Yellow-throated Vireo- 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher- 30
Ovenbird- 12
Worm-eating Warbler- 5
Northern Waterthrush- 2
Black-and-white Warbler- 2
Kentucky Warbler- 2; a male and female were feeding side by side in Homeless Hammock. Both were seen by me and Paul Bithorn.
Common Yellowthroat- 1
American Redstart- 7
Cape May Warbler- 2
Northern Parula- 6
Blackburnian Warbler- figs near lake
Black-throated Blue warbler- 6
Pine Warbler- 1
Yellow-throated Warbler- 2
Prairie Warbler- 7
Summer Tanager- 2
Baltimore Oriole- 3
Lastly, a possible female Orchard Oriole was seen in the small oaks between homeless hammock and the pool. It flew across the street and out of the park only to be chased by a Northern Mockingbird. It appeared to be more yellow and smaller than a female Baltimore Oriole.
