Yes, today at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden I spotted the Black-chinned Hummingbird along with the Buff-bellied. It flew into the white shaving brush tree to feed briefly and back out as Yellow-chevroned Parakeets and squirrels honed in. It flew over to a tall yellow-blossomed tree next to the fire bush and sat out in the open for at least a minute just looking around, probably waiting for the parakeets and squirrels to leave. Luckily there was a small and pleasant crowd at the Orchid Show today. Thanks again to Larry for the look out.
