American Golden Plover at Six Mile Bend, Palm Beach County

Carl Edwards called to report that an American Golden-Plover is at the Six Mile Bend sod farm just east of Brown Farm Road on CR 880. The bird, a molting male, was seen early this afternoon at the east end of the closest sod field from the road. Many Black-bellied Plovers were also present. Carl also found a rice field on Hatton Highway south of US 441/SR 80 that had an estimated 2,000 Bobolinks.
