Further to this morning's rushed post via cell phone, I found a Canada Warbler this morning in my yard! The bird stayed all day (disappearing sporadically) and so Larry & Phillip were first able to get it, then later joined by Toe, then Trey, who all saw/photographed the bird. It was my yard bird #131; unbelievably, shortly after finding it and posting, I found yard bird #132, a Prothonotary Warbler!.
My yard was inundated with migrants today. In addition to the above, I also had Redstart, Prairie, Parula, BT Blue, and Ovenbird. Nonwarblers included Summer Tanager, E Wood-Pewee, and Red-eyed Vireo. An afternoon high flyover Red-tailed Hawk was a treat, too.
I'll post if Canada is found tomorrow morning.
