: I went to the Dry Tortugas Satuday and had a Storm Petrel fly by. I am new to this part of the country. Can some one tell me what kinds are possible this time of year. Also are the White-tailed Tropicbirds seen this time of year?
:
Warblers, Tropical Parula, 3 kinds of swallows and Purple Martins
Band-rumped Storm Petrel is a possiblity as well as Wilson's Storm Petrel and possibly Leach's. You would have to go by the "Jizz" of the bird and location of the white on the rump.

Tropical Parula has never been reported in Florida before, well I may have seen one but I don't it.

I do more tours to the Dry Tortugas than any other company and have gone there for many years. I still have not seen a White-tailed Tropicbird down there!!!!!!
