I failed to find any Variegated Flycatchers, Bahama Woodstars, or Fan-tailed Warblers at A.D. Barnes this morning. But, while I checked a horde of Gnatcatchers and Prairie Warblers just south of the pool, Bill B. called to say he had relocated the Prothonotary Warbler seen a couple days ago near Picnic Area 3 between the lake and the parking lot. I managed to get off a couple of shots. This area of the park was a little birdy with the expected stuff. Other birds included Ovenbird, Worm-eating, Louisiana Waterthrush, Black-and-white, Redstart (American, not Painted), Northern Parula, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-throated, and plenty of Prairies. No rarities today, maybe tomorrow.
