I visited Barnes later this morning and saw both Hooded Warblers in essentially the same locations as reported by Bill. I also found a male Prothonotary Warbler in the picnic area near the lake. Just before leaving the park, I re-found what I assume to be the same bird in the willows at the north end of the lake.
Here's my list for the morning:
3-Cattle Egret
1-Cooper's Hawk
1-Common Gallinule
5-Eurasian Collared-Dove
2-Mourning Dove
1-Chuck-will's-widow
2-Red-bellied Woodpecker
6-Red-eyed Vireo
3-Blue Jay
6-Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
5-Northern Mockingbird
2-Worm-eating Warbler
3-Black-and-white Warbler
1-Prothonotary Warbler
2-Hooded Warbler
5-American Redstart
4-Northern Parula
1-Black-throated Blue Warbler
1-Prairie Warbler
3-Northern Cardinal
4-Spot-breasted Oriole
1-Gray Fox (crossing the trail between the boardwalk and nature center)
