Some of you may already know this, but. . . . Although it isn't avian, it does have wings! Go to:

My feeling is that this little guy may have hitched a ride on a ship rather than having been blown here by one of last summer's hurricanes. Of course I have no way to prove this. For pix of this bat species, go to:
