I've suspected for a while that, despite their slow disappearance from the mainland, that Smooth-billed Anis were still surving in a few out of the way places in the Keys.
Went out to the Marquesas today, 20 miles west of Key West. Counted at least six anis in one bush.
This is a good thing.
