Let's see, here's what I've chased lately:
Baird's Sandpiper at Crandon: missed it one day later
Hudsonian Godwit at sod farms: missed two days later
Baird's Sandpier near 248 St.: missed the following day
Black-billed Cuckoo at KIH: missed 14 hours later
None of these would be life birds, but I don't have a photo of any of these so now that I have a camera, well, you get the picture, even though apparently I don't!
Watch, if I leave the camera at home, the Hudsonian Godwit that's standing behind the Baird's Sandpiper will be spooked by the Golden Eagle as it's getting mobbed by a flock of Black-billed Cuckoos.
