: Fourteen birders participated in yesterday's TAS trip to Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park and Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area. Of the 103 species seen, here are the highlights:

: Along SR 68, US 441 and CR 724 (Eagle Island Road) - several Crested Caracara and Sandhill Crane, one Bald Eagle, and a Fox Squirrel.
:
: Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park - Bachman's Sparrow(singing), Barred Owl (heard), Cooper's Hawk, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Eastern Towhee, Eastern Meadowlark and a White-tailed Deer.
:
: US 441 between SR 60 and CR 523 (Canoe Creek Road) - Bald Eagle, Wild Turkey, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Long-billed Dowitcher, Eastern Bluebird.
:
: Lake Marion (accessed via Arnold Road and Lakeside Boulevard) - American White Pelican, Wood Stork, Bald Eagle (several) Limpkin, American Goldfinch.
:
: Sunset Ranch Trail (Three Lakes WMA) - Bald Eagle, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Blue-headed Vireo, Carolina Wren, House Wren, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Northern Parula, Yellow-throated Warbler, Pine Warbler, Black-and white Warbler, Ovenbird and an Armadillo.

: Prairie Lakes entrance (Three Lakes WMA) - Bachman's Warbler (singing).
:
: Canoe Creek Road in Three Lakes WMA - Northern Bobwhite, Downy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Brown-headed Cowbird.
:
: Hunter Camp (Three Lakes WMA) - Brown-headed Nuthatch, Eastern Bluebird, Pine Warbler, Chipping Sparrow. We tried for Red-cockaded Woodpecker here twice. When we returned at dusk, a group from Seminole Audubon was already in position at a nest hole. Alas, no Red-cockaded Woodpeckers this night.

: Joe Overstreet Road - many Glossy Ibis, Mallard/Mottled Duck hybrid, Blue-winged Teal, Bald Eagle, Northern Harrier, Crested Caracara, many Sandhill Cranes (including young), Black-necked Stilt, Least Sandpiper, many Wild Turkey, including several displaying toms, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Bluebird, Grasshopper Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark.

: Lake Kissimmee - three Snail Kites, Forster's Tern, Black Skimmer.
:
: Double C Bar Ranch (0.5 miles north of Joe Overstreet Road on CR 523) - one Whooping Crane.

I want to see that Bachman's Warbler NOW, how do I get directions for it!!
