Attempted to go out this morning. Went to the Jupiter inlet and boy was the wind blowing. Birds were noted out over the ocean but because the winds were so strong I couldn't hold the binoculars still to ID any of the birds. (it will take me forever to clean my binoculars and camera from all of the sea spray and sand) I then ventured to Riverbend Park and the Loxahatchee River has overflowed its banks. The infamous tree that held the large osprey nest has snapped in half and there is debris from the nest and tree all over. It is still raining and very windy up here, at this time, noon, so very few birds noted. Hope all weathered the storm well.
