Linda McCandless and I saw a Bell s Vireo at the cottages in Flamingo this morning. The bird was feeding in the trees at the bend of the road near Cottage X . It behaved much like a spring bird in its home range, moving rapidly, relatively high in the trees and SINGING almost continuously for the ½ hr we observed it. We also saw 4 Swallow-tailed Kites and 11 warblers, including Black-throated Blue and Worm-eating. Mosquitoes were ubiquitous!
