In about two hours of observing time at Hollywood North Beach this afternoon about 32 Sooty Terns, eight Sandwich Terns, and one Lesser Black-backed Gull were the only birds seen that were out of the ordinary. It was surprising to see Least Terns feeding in the surf during the worst squalls.
