While birding at Snake Bight in ENP on last Saturday, I had the misfortune of losing my wallet, a traumatic experience to say the least. After making a lost item report to the Park staff, I prayed that someone would be kind enough to turn it in. After all, anyone that would be out on Snake Bight Trail had to be good people. On Sunday afternoon, while cancelling my American Express Card, I was told someone had called to report finding my wallet. The details were sketchy, but I knew I would hook up with this person sooner or later.Early Monday morning I got the call. The Good Samaritan turned out to be Mr. Paul Gore. Paul visits the TAS website on a regular basis and is one of the most multifaceted people I have ever met. An avid naturalist, birder, Orchid enthusiast, photographer, attorney and theologian, he has helped spearhead an outstanding native planting on the grounds of Mary Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church in Parkland on the NE corner of the Sawgrass Expressway and University Drive. It includes such rarities as Satinwood, Torchwood and Lignum Vitae. The site attracts many birds and mammals and Paul welcomes birders and native plant enthusiasts to visit. Please visit the church website at http://mhocrc.org to find out more about this special garden and its' special Director of Land Stewardship, Paul A. Gore, who offers Garden Tours. Thanks again Paul.

P.S.The Everglades National Park staff was extremely courteous and professional during my ordeal and I am most grateful to them for all of their help.
