Birded Sadowski yesterday morning and Barnes today before work. Pretty much the same cast in both parks: A large movement of Parulas and Black-and-whites with strong numbers of Yellow-rumpeds still around and Prairies and Palms thrown into the mix...all in breeding plumage. That pretty much sums it up but there were a few more species of interest. Here's the list with "S" for Sadowski and "B" for Barnes:
Northern Parula (Singing! S,B)
Black-and-white Warbler (S,B)
Palm Warbler (S,B)
Prairie Warbler (S,B)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (S,B)
American Redstart (S)
Ovenbird (S)
Black-throated Blue Warbler (B)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (S,B)
Blue-headed Vireo (S,B)
White-eyed Vireo (B)
Indigo Bunting (S)
Painted Bunting (S)
Tufted Titmouse (Heard. B)
Eastern Phoebe (S)
Cheers,
RJ
