it may be on inteest to out-of-town birders that I saw a flock of 8 White-winged Parakeets this morning flying over my workplace at 550 NW leJeune Rd. My guess is that they were coming from their roost by the Ocean Bank building at NW 7th St. and LeJeune. They were headed southwest toward the Gables.
I post this only because WW Parakeets haven't been real evident around here of late. This is obviously not the only place in Miami to find them, though, because I heard lots of them a couple of weeks ago around Lincoln Road Mall in Miami Beach.
