I know that is not a very exciting yardbird, but I've never seen it in this area. Other things- spot-breasted oriole singing this morning- pair comes by practically every day except during each July and August, when they seem to vanish. Today's song is exactly the same melody as the pair that have been around for 4 years- if they are the same birds, I wonder how long they live? Some migrants around too, redstart, parula and gnatcatchers. Bronzed cowbird male regular a few blocks away. Bryan Park/ Little Havana.
