Not that is visible in the field, although the non-migratory resident birds (Sialia sialis grata) are larger-billed than the northern S. s. sialis. Counts of bluebirds indicate that there is little population change in winter as far north as Brevard, so the vast majority in central and south Florida are not migrants. (North Florida is a different story.)

For those few who do make it this far, south Florida is normally the end of their journey south, not someplace they pass through.
