Arrived at King Ranch this morning at 7:30 am. Right away I noticed the abundance of Pectoral Sandpipers. I was able to pick up a couple Upland and Stilt Sandpipers. Unfortunately my scope was not as helpful as I hoped. There were several shorebirds that remained unidentified due to distance. After we went over to Brown's Farm Rd where we were able to add Roseate Spoonbill and Woodstork. There were several Black-necked Stilts at both locations along with Black and Gull-billed Terns and Cliff, Barn and Bank Swallows.
