Pete, can you tell me if there was only one nest in the flue? The Fl Breeding Bird coordinator said no matter how swifts are seen in a chimney, only one pair nest per flue (a chimney can have multiple flues, at least in the old days). I confirmed this at a friend's house, looking up with a snake-necked flashlight.
Someone actually has a fireplace in Ocean Reef?
