Yesterday late afternoon and today in the morning, I went over to Barnes to try and relocate Abby's Swainson Warbler. No luck either time with the warbler but I did see some cool stuff:
Mourning Dove
Blue Jay
Tufted Titmouse
Cedar Waxwing
Gray Catbird
Brown Thrasher
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Northern Parula
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Ovenbird
Hermit Thrush (3 of them throughout the nature center)
Wood Thrush (at the end of the boardwalk)
In fact, the last three were skulking around in the same field of view at the end of the boardwalk! Balladares showed up just as I was about to leave and I got to show him the Wood Thrush; I think it was a lifer for him.

Good Birding,
RJ
