Little or no orbital ring, slightly lighter brown above, distinct white above the eye, slightly thinner bill - piece of cake in a scope at 200 yard in the sod farm heat!
After a couple of libations, I'm sure I'll see dozens of Common Ringed Plovers. But don't worry, I'll have Paul B. there to back me up.
