While in the keys yesterday, we stopped by the Marathon Airport. If you take the parallel road that runs along the airport fence past the terminal, (as you are heading in the direction of from Miami to Key West)go to the last picnic table. You can park here and look at the puddles near the fence. When there is rain there is usually puddles here. They always have shorebirds at this time of year and occasionally ducks. This is also the same area that had the White Wagtail a few years ago.

We had:
Short-billed Dowitcher
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Stilt Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Killdeer

Not too bad for a few puddles.
