Finally got to do a little shorebirding... because found a few to look at.
127th AVE and 256th street has some field perfect for shorebirds
Today I found
6-8 Black-necked Stilts
30+ Killdeer
2 Dowitcher.... Looked like Long-billed
20+ Semipalmated Plovers
6 Least Sandpiper
1 American Golden Plover - non breeding; It was with 8 Laughing Gulls... spotted with binoculars but got good scope view. Distinct bright white supercilium, golden brown color, long wings, head and bill looked good and it did a wing stretch and had grey under wing with no black patches.
I went for my camera to take some really bad long distance photos but couldn't relocate the bird.
