How unusual is it to see a Peregrine this time of year?? It briefly soared and then sat on the tall high power poles just west of Powerline Rd. north of Sample Road next to the "Monarch Hill Energy Park" AKA Mt. Trashmore, Pompano Beach. I was really surprised, but the size, hood, light bib and diving silhouette made it pretty definite for me. Think I recall Bruce saying he had been buzzed by one at Tall Cypress late this Spring - not too far from the dump ;)
