I finally made it up to the Seacrest Scrub preserve for the black-throated gray warbler. I searched for two hours sunday morning without success, then went back in the afternoon. I found the flock of Pine Warblers at the back of the park and found the Black-throated Gray with them in a sand pine. Awesome bird, and a lifer. As I watched it chased a Yellow-throated Warbler that came too close. In between my searches at seacrest I stopped at Wakodahatchee, where I got another lifer... a Black-necked Stilt. I also got to see the fuzzy little great blues in the top nest and several hungry anhinga nestlings being fed by their mother.
Saturday I went to Enchanted Forest, where I saw the following:
Blue-headed Vireo (singing)
Yellow-throated Vireo
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Palm Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Parula
Common Yellowthroat
American Redstart
Black-throated Blue Warbler
