Hoping that the SW flow would bring some birds in, I went to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park this morning. While some wintering birds remain, it seems that many have moved out. There were 8 warbler species. Signs of migration: 12 bright male Prairies, 8 Northern Parulas, 2 Black-and-whites, male Black-throated Blue and Cape May. The Nexrad migrating flocks that Noel Wamer noted last night did not stop here on Key Biscayne.

The usual Sharp-shinned Hawk patrolled the interior trails and there were 3 immature Broad-winged Hawks in one view. They came very close and it was interesting to note the variation of streaking on each.
