Some suggestions:

Florida Scrub-jay, east coast of Florida at Merritt Island around Cape Kennedy, or also Jonathan Dickinson Park

Snail Kite....good binoculars and try Alligator Alley between Naples and Ft. Lauderdale or north on the Seminole Indian road

Short-tailed Hawk....Eco-pond at Everglades PArk, or also in the vicinity of Mahoghany Hammock (closed but you can walk around the sign)

RC Woodpecker......Can't help

Shiny Cowbird......Flamingo Marina in ENP, sit down with lunch at the picnic table and hang on, to your lunch

Mangrove Cuckoo...reported at West Lake several weeks past and probably resident in the area

Check out the Reddish heron at flamingo ENP by the marina entrance and look up often to see the Roseatte Spoonbill or hire a boat captain to run you out to Franks's Key to see where they roost.

The spoonbills pass north to south and very high elevation going from the rookery to feed inland.

At Venice Florida there is an active rookery by the FHP police station. At Boynton Beach exit 81 Turnpike, Jog road, there is Wakodahatchee preserve , as in outstanding; And the roads Alligator Alley and/or Tamiami Trail east to west will blow your mind. State road 29 connects the two on the west, Krome Avenue does the same on the east (and don't forget to gamble at Krome and Tamiami Indian Res... the Native Americans will love you.

Enough?
