After 4 trips to Fern Forest I finally located the Blue-winged Warbler first sighted by Mark Berney Dec 11th and then again on Jan 9th. It was feeding with a group of Yellow-rumped Warblers (including a Black and White and a Blue-headed Vireo) in the lower part of the canopy (25ft up) just before the end of the Cypress Creek Trail. It marked my 24th winter warbler since the TAS trip Jan 8th. I hope to reach 25 if I can find a Yellow Warbler.
