There is both male and female wood ducks present at Hoechoka Hammock. Last year they produced 5 offspringg of which three were mature when last seen.
This is a good photo-op for TAS-ers that need a close picture for their collection. Hank took these in sporadic light rain several days past.
Another classic case of opportunity meeting preparation.
