A couple of hours ago I drove by the S.W. 107th Ave./256th Street mentioned and that field only had small areas of water with gulls. I then continued Westward on 248th only a short distance further and a flooded field yielded at least 15-20 Semipalmated Plovers and a few Peeps. As soon as I got out of my car to get a better look, the Peeps took off and I was unable to relocate them. Perhaps others could check out this area while the water is still around. The field just described was just past the Turnpike overpass on the left heading Westward.
