I stayed home taking care of my wife today while she recovers from an infection in her foot. She's doing much better. She took a nap this afternoon, and with a slight break in the weather I decided to do a little birding in the Dump March area. At 97 Ave. and 248 St. I found a lone Northern Rough-winged Swallow. Nothing but mosquitoes at Dump Marsh, but at the Quarry Lake on 107 Ave. I found two Caspian, a Common, and a Gull-billed Tern hunting along the edges of the lake. They were best seen from the gate on the chain-linked fence at theoretical 270 St. Photos were tough due to the conditions, but they at least serve for ID purposes
