Tomorrow, Tuesday, I enter the Hospital for a double knee replacement and I'm thinking how much I will miss my backyard friends for the next 2 to 3 weeks when I spot a lot of action across the small lake in my backyard. I limped out with my bins and saw about 50 to 100 robins feeding on the Brazilian pepper. On the way back to the house I see some movement at the top of my live oak, wow, 30 or more cedar waxwings. I quickly called my wife to tell her the news and 2 spotbreasted orioles landed in the bouganvillea. Somebody up there loves me.
