The cumulative June Challenge list continues to build in Miami-Dade county as we reach the middle of the month:
Brian Rapoza picked up Clapper Rail near Homestead Beachfront Park. Larry and Phillip Manfredi picked up a surprise Northern Harrier also near Homestead.
Trey Mitchell spotted a few Bank Swallows in an open field in the southern reaches of the county. Angel and Mariel Abreu had a single Antillean Nighthawk mixed in with several Common Nighthawks on Key Biscayne.
In addition to these species, reports of uncountable exotics also continue to trickle in with the addition of a plethora of parakeets, Nutmeg Mannikins, and Common Hill Mynas to the "uncountables list" for Miami-Dade.
Team Miami-Dade is setting up to win big this year!
Carlos
