Northern Gannets off Key Biscayne

This afternoon, one scan revealed 167 Northern Gannets diving and feeding near Government Cut. This is probably a very conservative count. The ratio of adults to immatures was 50/50. On Crandon Beach a Forster's Tern was with Royal and 2 Caspian Terns.
