Thank you Brian. I looked up the Hill myna, and it does seem to be pretty close. I couldn't find very many in-flight shots to see how the wing bars look from underneath, but they do appear to be pretty clear in the photos shown. I don't recall seeing yellow hanging off the head or eye, but also didn't get the greatest look at the head area - I just know I saw some kind of yellow around the head as it contrasted with the orange of the bill. The common myna photos look like the bil is more yellow than what I saw, which looked much more orange.
Also, the wings had the white bars, but I didn't see any white on the tail at all - the common myna photos seem to show white on the tail - could that be a seasonal or age-related thing? If I had to pick, the hill myna photos look much more like what I saw.
