East Everglades: King Rails and Barn Owl

While driving down SW 237 Avenue in the East Everglades this morning, I spotted two King Rails. The only other bird of note was a Barn Owl, seen coursing over the marsh along SW 168 Street near the intersection with SW 237 Avenue. I also saw two Hispid Cotton Rats in the road.
