Despite being in the middle of the work week, Miami-Dade birders continued to impress as the cumulative total for the county continued to climb thanks to the efforts of Jocelyn, Angel and Mariel Abreu, Larry and Phillip Manfredi, Trey Mitchell, and David S.

The following we new to the total:

Great Cormorant
Roseate Spoonbill
Bald Eagle
Red-tailed Hawk
Purple Gallinule
Lesser Yellowlegs
Great Black-backed Gull
Mangrove Cuckoo
Eastern Screech-Owl
Seaside Sparrow

Birds still needed for the overall effort:

Northern Bobwhite
Wild Turkey
Least Bittern
Snail Kite
King Rail
Sandhill Crane
White-rumped Sandpiper
Herring Gull
Caspian Tern
Gull-billed Tern
Great Horned Owl
Barn Swallow
Yellow Warbler

Hope everyone has good birding plans for the weekend within Miami-Dade. See you out there!

Carlos
