I decided to try for the Black-throated Gray since it is basically in my own backyard figuratively speaking. I managed to get to the Seacrest Scrub area just after 1130am just as the Tropical Audubon group had spotted the bird. The bird continues to move around with a large mixed flock of mostly Pine warblers, Blue-grey Gnatcatchers, though I spotted a Yellow-throated Warbler and a Prairie Warbler. After you walk through the gate walk to the sandy yellow dot marked paths. Today the Black-throated Gray was on the path as it went to the right just a 50 yards down moving among the pine trees.
What a nice bit of serendipidy it was to see this bird. Bring lots of eyes if you can. There are lots of birds to sort through when you find the flock. I found the flock earlier in the week, but was by myself and couldn't single out the bird. Apologies to the Miami group for posting this early. Hope I am not stepping on any toes.
