Thanks, David. Black-whiskered Vireo down, then. Keep us updated with your Barn Owl chicks. I had one at Chekika Unit (Everglades National Park), as well as my neighborhood Barn Owl this morning.
During my birding at Chekika, I noticed that there were many, many Hispid Cotton Rats running back and forth across the road throughout the area. Perhaps a population boom in these rodents that will help our local Barn Owls raise more offspring this year?
