Went down to Everglades National Park, Black Point Marina and Cutler Wetlands today and was able to get some great looks of awesome birds. This includes EIGHT Barn Owls on CR 9336 (from C-111 to the park entrance and another on Research Road), Brown-headed Cowbird, Eastern Towhee, Kingbird and Meadowlark. Also seen were Short-tailed Hawk and White Pelican. I did dip on Purple Gallinule, Brown-headed Nuthatch, Eastern Bluebird and Mangrove Cuckoo.
