In Florida, the little devils are spookier than any bird I have tried to photo. I have some pretty good photos of one on wires at Merritt Island Refuge.Try to find a spot where the bird stages on a tree as it hunts for fish. For years I tried to get photos in the Florida Keys and did not succeed. Drive fastly by and they stay but slow down to photo and they fly off and scold you.
